Outdoor therapy
I guess lockdown is teaching us all things about ourselves. Last night I learnt that I value sleep over proving a point to my friends. I didn’t last long in the tent, mostly because it was cold and uncomfortable and my own bed was just metres away.
I’ve felt slightly emotionally fragile today, I guess we’ll all have days like this, but being outdoors has helped. I tidied out the shed this morning (surely that’s like a week ten lockdown activity, not week two) and then hit the roads this afternoon. Although the wind was absolutely brutal, it was so nice to be outside and everywhere I looked was utterly beautiful. Nature is my therapist. If our daily exercise is taken from us, I may rebel in order to protect my own sanity.
