Pretty Blossom

Despite this not being the busiest of times, sleeping I’d not a problem......woke feeling refreshed.

Breakfast was fruit & yogurt, hub had toasted fruit loaf. I had placed an online order with a family farm not far away, it was ready for collection this morning. We drove the couple of miles, hub waited in the car whilst I picked up the box... all ready & waiting for me, paid for online.... think I will be using them again, only two other people there too!

I’ve also placed a similar meat order on line with a butchers we use, they are delivering all being well, on Thursday......so no need to go anywhere for a few days :-)

We had coffee in the summerhouse when we got back, then after lunch we pottered about the garden, A bit of weeding, tidied the pond some more....hub tried to fix the garden lights we bought less than 12 months ago, to no avail :-/ I’m going to email & complain, they weren’t cheap ones!!

Watched the daily conference as usual before starting dinner, just a simple chicken, chorizo & mushroom pasta dish tonight. Made a minestrone soup too, for tomorrow’s lunch.

We had a short walk around our estate, so many trees covered in white blossom, the wind blowing it around....the road looked like there had been a wedding! Today’s blip is a close up of one of those trees.

Just heard the news that our PM has gone into ICU, come on Boris, you can fight this :-(
