Spot the push bike

The baling contractor arrived from Blenheim today, and arrived at our lease block early this evening. This is him baling the hay - can you spot the push bike? You may have to enlarge the photo to spot it.

It is amazing the speed that this machinery can chew through the grass. It won't take him long to get this baled.

Our second lot of hay at our home farm was cut this afternoon. We are looking at baling that either Tuesday or Wednesday. Then it will be a matter of getting it all in the shed. What fun.

Another stunner of a day today - reached 30.1 degrees C again. And the rest of the week looks like it will be brilliantly fine. Fantastic hay making weather.
