Telscombe Village
Lockdown Day 24
It was great to finish work at lunch time today, particularly as it was a lovely sunny day, so after lunch with Alan I headed out across the fields for my walk.
When we walked through Telscombe Village over the weekend, we noticed a path in front of the church, so I decided to go an investigate and see where it lead. On my way I noticed another lamb that had just been born, so I stopped to take some photos from a distance, and then said hello to the horses at the stud farm before carrying on into the village. It was a nice walk, but it didn't really lead anywhere and I prefer our other routes, so probably won't bother with that one again. I had hoped there might be bluebells as the path goes along side quite a lot of trees, but there wasn't.
On my way back through the field of sheep I passed another ewe who'd literally just given birth to triplets! What an amazing sight - it certainly makes you forgot what's going on in the world.
Have you seen the 99 year old Veteran Captain Tom Moore who is raising money for the NHS? He will be 100 at the end of this month and he decided to walk 100 lengths of his garden, doing 10 lengths per day with his zimmer frame, and he wanted to raise £1,000. Well, people are donating from around the world, including myself and he's currently raised just over £10 million! If you interested in donating, here's the link:
