Sea air

Up and did some shopping and cleaning...cleared out a cupboard in the kitchen and gave it a good wash with some drops of lemon essential oil to freshen it up. Planned a bike ride with V but she’s still suffering from aching after a ride a few days ago and awaiting padded shorts so instead we headed for a long walk along the beach. Bit chilly in the wind but beautiful blue skies and sunshine and so good to get fresh sea air. We even had a little brief picnic of a roll and crisps (sitting at opposite ends of a log that was on the beach!)
Found some amazing sparkly black sand full of tiny sea shells so she scooped some up into the sandwich bags to take home for the top of her patio pots. Chatted about all sorts and laughed a lot....lovely to have a sense of almost normality for a couple of hours.
Home and finished sewing up the cardigan. That one’s done now...so onto the same one in a different colour for A.
