Meiringen

150mm of snow overnight left Meiringen looking picture postcard beautiful this morning.

Today's trip was by spectacular rack and pinion railway to the city of Lucerne where we explored the quaint old town. The afternoon was spent walking along the waterfront in warm springlike sunshine before a leisurely late lunch at a lakeside cafe.
