Baking

This morning I baked to give some thank you gifts to Carol who brings us our treat of the Saturday Guardian, and to whichever daughter will be doing a food drop off later in the week.

There you have carrot cake, custard creams and gingerbread. If Mr C is good I might keep him some.

It has been boiling today in our garden. I was reading my book, minding my own business when a weasel ran along the wall. Yikes.

A friend drove to Berwick for compost. Essential she said - they needed a 60 mile round trip. Mr C is getting his compost from the local ironmonger who also stocks it.
