Flame of the Forest

A nice sunny day

We had a good virtual church service in the morning - which had been prepared by my lovely gtanddaughter. She is a Youth Worker in her church in Edinburgh. It was originally planned as a Cafe Church - which usually includes making things or colouring in things - so she had done something along those lines as well as her talk. Several people have already been in touch to say how much they enjoyed it.

In the afternoon, we had our Dundee family come to see us to celebrate my Birthday. Our garden has a side gate and we had chairs set up about 9/10 feet away from our chairs.  It was good to have an unhurried chat while actually seeing them in the flesh.

Since we didn't go put for out usual walk, my Blip is from the garden - the Flame of the Forest moved into prime position as a candidate.

It was a very relaxing day and we were really blessed.
