Dulsie Bridge...

built in 1755 to facilitate the Hanoverians conquest of the Jacobites. Looking good today with all the Spring growth. We had the first rain of the month and it was fourteen degrees colder than yesterday! When the Cairngorms reappear tomorrow I am sure they will show a fresh snow fall. We can always feel the results down here. However, there was a new surge of plant growth and I found Primroses in profusion.
The Blackgrouse were still at the lek and I watched two really fighting.
Saw six Sandpipers feeding together and three Hares together.
Thought my squirrel worthy of inclusion in the extra as it was raining the whole time he was at his bench!
Turned into a pleasant if much cooler day.
