Clover

Clover has such a beautiful flower.  They come in different colours (perhaps different varieties) and this rich pink version is such a delight to see but so easy to overlook.  I found it in the field when I was walking Merlin this afternoon.

The day started with gentle rain and its been mainly overcast all day.  I had a video chat with Dad this morning, then made parsnip soup whilst Andy popped to the shop to get milk and some other essentials we needed.  This evening we had sausage casserole for dinner.  We've been having quite a lot of them during lock down as they make a tasty one pot wonder jammed full of vegetables as well as sausages and last us for a couple of dinners.
