It’s love

The bluetits have been so busy the last few weeks and must have eggs as the female is appearing less and less. I managed to catch them feeding each other in the cherry tree.
We must have had a lot of rain over night again so I did not water too much.
Saw a male and female roe deer dash across the field.The female was not looking her best wondering if it was just the case of losing her Winter coat.
The woodpecker has been down a few times even at 9pm.
I’ve been watching the Wakefield peregrines and saw that two of the eggs have now hatched, two to go.
Mike went to the allotment and made a frame to cover the strawberries. He’s been distance talking to some of the other members. Some say the birds never touch the strawberries others say they can get the lot.
Mike watched the Genesis Concert online while I watched a fascinating programme about archeology in Egypt.
