Bottlebrush emerging

The bottlebrush trees are starting to flower. This one is in a sunny spot in a nearby square. The one I have in a pot on the balcony is not quite as far advanced.
It was street market day today, and I bought a load of wonderfully fresh veg, herbs and
strawberries plus one very large sea bream, which made a delicious evening meal.
I had a good long chat with my friend in Dublin, who doesn't have Internet, a smartphone nor a TV. She is managing fine and doing loads of reading, but I would find it really difficult without Internet.
