Lumberjack

The return of Special Branch - the other neighbours this time; as a little extra just for us they pop over the fence to lop some of the overhanging birch.
A bit of time spent online, including looking at Apple’s latest SE which I find appealing until I realise it doesn’t support 5G. In fact, none of Apple’s products do - all to do with an Apple v Qualcomm dispute apparently. What interesting reading! Haven’t all the 5G masts been burnt down in any case?
Later, an evening of viewing ‘curated’ by the SK, starting with some  program about Warhol and the exhibition that should be on at the Tate. And much more, of course.

Talking of interesting reading, what does Nick Timothy really think about China now that he’s no longer at the top of No10? China has abused the international trading system by overproducing goods and dumping them on other markets. It has engaged in mass industrial espionage. It has set debt traps for other countries to win leverage over them. Its state has not become more liberal or democratic, but even more oppressive. It has used the technologies made possible by international trade to control its people. And it has used the openness of other economies to undercut rival businesses and blackmail governments.

Well, we’ve been warned.
