Day 43 The Blue Corner
The weather was brighter today, with some sunshine, although perhaps a bit nippy for sitting out. No walk today, just the cycling through BBC's 'Doctors'. I'm guessing that they'll run out of recorded episodes soon as the Archers has had to start running repeats!
Daughter #2 is still uncertain as to whether she'll be called into work: she will have to go in this week for a morning, where one would hope that they can set her up for home working. We will be assisting with childcare and feel comfortable about that as they self isolated for a fortnight after Violet's poorly episode which was almost certainly not the dreaded virus but in the absence of any testing facility had to be treated as such.
I didn't manage to create an MM low light image but have just resorted to yet another pic of our garden: I'm standing in the area behind what was once the garage and where we keep our BBQ, and looking at our two rather lovely ceanothus which are a great favourite with the bees. The honeybells are almost in flower but it'll be another day or two before they are fully open.
In other news: apparently Boris will be speaking to the nation on Sunday to outline the exiting from lockdown plan. The papers are full of supposed leaks about what lies ahead, but it might be best to wait until we are told officially. There is a new contact tracing phone app which is first being trialled on the Isle of Wight, which the government hopes will help us return more safely to our normal lives.
