The Tuesday "Run"

This week  "run" was a trek up the hill from Staveley where we had left the car after shopping, up to Potter Fell for amazing views and back down again. The other attraction of Potter Fell is Potter Tarn where I did have a quick 10 minute swim in a swimsuit. No wetsuit because I could not be bothered to lug it up the hill. Once I was in, it was absolutely lovely,  first swim since the end of March. water temperature 12.5°C, only slightly colder than the air : 14°C and windy.
I have blipped this tree before but it looks better with its spring coat on.

Depressing, our deaths overtake Italy. So many people quick to criticise but its very easy to be wise after the event.
