The Old Tower

Took the scenic route back from posting a letter in the village postbox.  This is the tower of the old church in Crook where I live. The church was in use until 1880 and the tower is now the crossroads of many footpaths suggesting they are the old routes to church. The old church is at the top of the hill, near the farms. The new church is in the valley where the "new houses" were being built .  If you look  large  you can see the new church to the left.  My entry for the wide angle challenge with enhanced perspective. Very hot and sunny. Daily watering of the garden needed
