‘Care package’ (Day 57)

A sunny morning for Archie’s walk with Robert up Blackford Hill. While he was away, we drove to the supermarket to pick up yesterday’s online order. Took us about five minutes - very well organised, all ready packed in the back of a van for our one hour pre-booked slot.

When we came back, Rufus and his mum popped in for a visit. Christine brought a ‘care package’ - Maltesers, chocolate, a wee bottle of gin, a wee pack of tonics, and a bag of treats for Archie. It was very well received, and has been plundered already.

Robert stayed for a coffee in the sun, and then JR went off for her 25 minute run. Every time we go near the Meadows, she points out the whole route that she takes. Far!

Archie and I relaxed. And we continued to relax most of the day until JR’s constant ‘suggestions’ had an effect, and I took Archie out to the Links instead of watching ‘A Place in the Sun’.

The pleasant weather of the am was beginning to get not so pleasant in the late pm. In fact, it was cold and windy on the Links and we didn’t hang around. On the way back home we met Prezel and her mum on the corner. Pretzel’s beard just got caught in a gust, and we got home just before the rain started. It would be quite welcomed if we had any plants in the garden...
