The Amaryllis is getting more extravagant

It's getting quite impressive now that more flower heads are opening.
Had a lovely day today exploiting our new-found freedom... met up with five friends along the south coast (the Athens Riviera as it is now called apparently) and had a picnic by the beach. It was a way of celebrating one friend's birthday without all sitting squashed inside in someone's home.. The original plan had been a walk too along the sea front but it was too hot for walking in the middle of the day. Fortunately we found a shady place to sit.
I had a quick swim, (2nd of the year!) though noone else did ... but there were plenty of people swimming from the beach itself.
