Lockdown Day 52

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Prince was feeling a bit ‘tired’ this morning.

When The Eldest Mini Princess was very little (about 3), The Prince was having a lie-in after a night out and she wanted to know why he was still sleeping.

Me: Daddy is very tired

EMP: WHY is Daddy tired?

Me: Daddy might have a bit of a sore head.

EMP: WHY does Daddy have a sore head?

Me: Daddy was out last night and has a beer head.

The Eldest Mini Princess looked horrified.

EMP: OH NO...POOR DADDY. A bear did hit him on the head.

This is clearly your fault Jenny, with your kiwi vowel sounds. She probably thought you were reading “We’re Going On A Beer Hunt”.

Actually, that sounds like a great story!
