My First Sewing Machine

I think I must have been given this when I was about 8 years old.  My friend, Wendy and I loved making clothes for our dolls.  I was so disappointed when we couldn't get this little machine to sew things properly.  Mainly because it had no lower bobbin I think.  I could never bring myself to actually throw it away, but the time has now come for this little seamstress(!) to grow up and dispose of things from the olden days.  Started a bit more seriously on the loft today.  Oh dear!!!!
