Unexpected View

On Tuesday I had to take my car to the garage to have its air conditioning fixed - it's just too hot driving without it. The garage is on an industrial estate in a not-pretty part of St Austell, and because there is only a tiny office it was not possible to wait on site, or get a lift home because of social distancing.  So I had to take a walk for an hour and a half.

I tried to aim at where I knew the sea to be, though I felt it would be too far to walk in the heat.  I'm not good at heat!  On the way towards the sea I found an unexpected cemetery.  It was shady, cool and had lots of seats under trees,  As I walked through it I found this view!  There was a cool breeze blowing as well.  I'll go there again the next time I have to wait for my car to be fixed.  

When I got the car back I decided I needed to test my eyes (because I'm due an eye test but Specsavers is closed) so I drove around for a while.

Very disappointed tonight (late Wednesday) to learn that the brilliant Emily Maitlis has been reprimanded and taken off Newsnight tonight after she told too much of the truth about Cummings on last night's programme.
