The very rare....

Narrow bordered Bee Hawk Moth behind the house this morning. Most unexpected as it’s food plant is not around, so hope it can use the Bugle which is covering the hillside at the moment.
It was a very hot day and perhaps that had something to do with its emergence and the swarm of my neighbours bees, seen in the extra.
A wonderful day for walking.
