Watering

Enrolled S into helping net up the strawberries before the birds start their feasting. Took a while because the nets are old, tangly, ripped, the wrong size ... otherwise they’re OK. Think we’ve managed it so we can easily get in to pick the berries and the birds can’t but they may prove me wrong. If the crows decide they want dessert we’re done for! Otherwise, just needed to give everything a good watering again, the May drought continues.
First day of easing the lockdown here, though to be honest there’s been a gradual, unofficial easing for a while and the only noticeable difference was larger groups of folk sitting around in the park. We stopped by the corner wine-shop on the way home and splurged out on various kinds of Weißbier and half a dozen Augustiner (the prince of Helles) ahead of the Friday night quiz. Plenty of laughs, another win for K&L, no connection problems this week and D hasn’t burnt his garage down yet. All good!
