Strawberry plants are doing well

A morning walk/ jog to the allotment to do some watering.  I did well as I think I jogged more than I walked – which is probably a first.

At the allotment, I noticed that the strawberry plants have fruit coming which is almost ready.  I hope we get to eat these rather than the local mouse.  I have put a net over but not sure if it will stop him/her. A few other things are almost ready so we should soon start eating home grown.
 
We had a lovely takeaway Sunday roast from a local pub and we did some more cleaning and tidying around the garage and in the garden.  We must be almost running out of things to clean but I suspect there is always more to do!
 
More sunshine today but a cool wind later in the day.
