Exquisite

A word which I think sums up this beautiful little iris, bought from RHS Harlow Carr a few years ago, to plant in our Alpine sink garden. 
Only £1.90, a real bargain.
Called Iris Setosa. Only 4" high it has today come into flower yet again.
Don't you think the markings are just exquisite? Lovely colour too.

A funny sort of day. Dull but with the  occasional glimpses of the sun.
Also a shower or two. ( just as I put some washing out)
Feels very warm and humid. Certainly good growing weather. Everything in the garden is shooting up like mad.
Just going to buy some more canes for the runner beans.
