Humans Day

Katie has been very excited for this day, for this week. She is so delighted at the prospect of "hooooooomans". Grandad and Granny came for morning tea. I plonked her on her trampoline to help her curb the instinct to run for hugs. We enjoyed pastries and managed to make them tea while observing careful protocols. She did a ballet class and some school work before her socially distanced bassoon lesson. She did some seriously impressive concentrating and played until her lips gave up! 

 Then it was playtime in Bs garden! She went absolutely bat-poop crazy. She was uncontainably excited to be back. She always cartwheels round like a loon anyway there but it completely exploded out of her. And someone else made me a cup of tea for the first time in 3 months!
