Not a hat!

I have lots of bits of wool left over from knitting Fair Isle hats, tams, beanies so decided to try something different to use them up. 

This is Hazel Tindall's Scaddiman cushion pattern, drying in the bathroom, after being blocked into shape. Mike cut out a 17 inch plastic disc for me to use. He's a handy chap to have about!

 And, now that I have used up all these woolly remains, it's time to get on line and order some more!  Memories of being in Shetland with Lady F, standing in front of a whole wall of colours to choose from. It's not quite the same on a small screen!
