Lupins...

blue, pink,purple and white down at the bridge this morning. There was a light shower and everything smelt so fresh and sweet! Still warm too so very comfortable for walking. 
Continued along the river then up into the woods to see how the Swallows were. The old wires above the derelict farm were strung with young Swallows and House Martins.
The Junipers have an amazing amount of new foliage, looking almost like Hemlock. 
On the return trip, heard a young Woodpecker in the dead tree and watched both adults feeding it, but worried them when I tried to get a decent shot, so left them in peace.
At home, repotted the herbs, as they are doing so well.
