Keep Your Distance

The swans were out and about when we passed the Cuilc. The cygnets were munching away furiously with the parents keeping a watchful eye, chasing away any ducks that got to close, rather ferociously at times. I feared for one duckling but it proved quick off the mark. 


We watched the latest National Theatre offering last night - This House set in the whips offices in the House of Commons during the 70s. It was well done and we both enjoyed it (although it is somewhat disconcerting realising events from your childhood are now very firmly history). However the real drama had been unfolding in Westminster itself with the ludicrous scenes of MPs in socially distant queues to vote on whether to continue with such a ludicrous practice ot not.  They are - unbelievable.
