Limpsfield .....

..... Chart.
This blip is taken at the car park of The Pine Woods N. T. At Limsfield Chart in Kent . With the dull'ish / windy and showery day it was hard to decide where to walk. The woods gave a pleasant place and the paths were easy , tho' I must say I'm still very careful , not at all sure footed, when I'm on my own . As these paths everywhere are humps and bumps it does make walking unnerve me somewhat. Shame cos' today I felt I could have walked for longer , which doesn't often happen for the " old girl" . Still have to be thankful for small mercies when you're over the hill.
The word " Chart " is found a lot around here and seems to mean " estate " . Think it all comes from land owners etc , how the rich lived hey!.
Hope you've all managed to dodge the showers and stay safe ..

Grateful .... to have been out for a while in the in between showers .
