Selborne

We went for a walk up Selborne hanger and over the common this morning for a change of scene. The map at the bottom said that, due to the numerous paths, you shouldn't attempt a round trip without a map. We didn't have a map with us, so attempted a round trip without one...and got lost. It seems to be a common occurrence as we came across three other groups of people who were also lost. In the end, though, we found our way back by a combination of compass, common sense and luck! Pictured is the lovely view from the hanger, including Gilbert White's house on the front right with the red roof. In Extras is the Selborne wishing stone, apparently put there by the Devil.
