Pacific Black

I have always thought that a "black" duck should actually be .. well .. black. This Pacific black duck species is really anything but black. If it weren't a dull day in the shade at the local duck pond, you would see that the feathers are mostly brown. Either way these fellas always look so pleased with themselves for some reason.
