Snowdrops
Just after 11am this morning, my husband's Grandma, Hazel sadly passed away.
My husband was on the M6, on his way to see her and missed her passing by ten minutes. She was with her husband Keith (today's blip is a picture of them in their younger days, I love it).
She'd woken up yesterday and in one of her brighter moments had lamented the fact that she would never see her garden in blossom again. Later that day, her husband Keith had gone into the garden and found some snowdrops in blossom and placed them by her bed. When she woke, she had seem them, smelt them and smiled.
And that is love.
She passed away holding his hand peacefully and without pain. Together to the end.
