Water Droplets

My mood was not particularly hopeful when I started my water droplet session this afternoon as previously I seemed to be stuck with the standard mushroom shaped collisions and I desperately wanted to emulate some of the more unusual collisions that I had seen on more advanced water droplet photography . However, almost from the start of the session I began to get much higher spouts and then coronas above the spout from drops separating from the spout and continuing upward colliding with the second droplet to create free flying coronas. The shape of the collisions is much more random but among all the dross you do get some wonderful shapes. I rather like the standard light at the end of my extras.
