Distanced birthday

My goddaughter turned 8 today so we went to visit. After a delay from the party of cows blocking the road and refusing to mooooove. There were air hugs and social distanced ball games. Maisy drew a portrait of Katie "so I can remember what you look like" (sob). It was really lovely, but very strange not to hug them all. They're a family I love to give hugs to.

The rest of the afternoon was rather an epic fail. Saturday Meltdowns are a definite thing in our lockdown household.
