Groovy!

The sand was very groovy yesterday evening.  After DAYS of cold, grey and often rainy weather, yesterday started out with dismal drizzle, but the sun appeared in the afternoon.  I waited till low tide at 7-ish (because I can't get onto the bigger beach until I can cross the river from the smaller beach) and went for a walk in full sunshine.  This beach changes often - last time I was here there were no grooves!  For younger readers, 'groovy' was an 'in' word in the sixties.  I suppose 'cool' is a more recent equivalent.
