Little green apples

Today's the day ……………………. to thin out

As well as all the flowers that are doing well in the garden - I've never seen such a bumper crop of apples on the apple trees.

Of course they are tiny at the moment - these ones are an inch or so across - but they are beautifully formed and perfect in every way.  They tell us that we have to discard most of them, leaving just a couple of apples at each branch.  That way they will mature into big apples.

I'm not sure we are going to be able to do that ………………..?!
