Another day of east coast harr.
A day of this and that. A neighbouring farmer in for another load of rolled barley. After lunch , a trip with 3 dogs and Littlemiss to drop off the VAT stuff at the accountant’s office in Haddington , then a detour via the local cop shop to hand in some renewal paperwork . Turns out the officer who came out to the front desk to see me was an old Young Farmers acquaintance .
Back home and the rest of the afternoon going round electric fences trying to get power. In the end gave up and stuck a battery powered ticker on the field with the cows in for tonight . Will need to investigate some of the other miles and miles we have when I get time .
Down the road to feed cattle in the fog again. When we get an East coast harr here it often lasts for days. Was speaking to someone from Hawick at lunch time and it had burned off there by mid morning. Nae luck here.
