The old and the new

Can you tell which is which? I didn't feel I could quite rely on my old external hard drive any more. So we went to PC World and I got a lovely new one. Some things to compare -
298GB vs 2 terrabytes
large vs small
noisy vs quiet
power needed vs no power cable
fairly quiet vs very quiet
USB2 vs USB3

I am so pleased with my new one. I shall put the old one somewhere safe with it's final back up of my data. I am very grateful to it for the good service it has done me for several years.
