What Might Have Been

Clare returned to work today, not fully refreshed from ten days all inclusive at a 4* hotel on Malta's seafront but hopefully feeling ready for the next couple of months before her next day off. We had bought 'Malteasers' for her to take in and share with her colleagues but she forgot them.

My task for the day - more mundane - a deep clean of the kitchen and a 'weeding' out of the bits 'n' bobs that accumulate on every work top.
Cleaned, polished, wiped with disinfectant it will smell just like work for when Clare gets home.

No walk for Sam and I, pouring with rain.
