Dancing Girls

In bed before 11.30 last night, was really tired, didnt wake until 5.55......then again at 9, so feeling refreshed today.

We walked into town this morning to get some exercise, collected the bits we needed thne headed back.

Coffee in the summerhouse whilst reading for a while. Snapped a couple of shots for todays blip.....liked this fuchsia dangling over the edge of its turquoise pot best.

Hub had a sandwich for lunch, whilst Immade myself a mushroom omelette, with a couple of pieces of dry fried halloumi with chilli and a side salad.

After lunch I decided to give the front garden some attention.
Until recently it had been so dry no weeding has been possible. Well today they all bit the dust! I worked hard for three hours, cutting back the cotoneaster which had gone mad, digging out weeds, scrapping dried moss off the brickwork, trimmed the hypericum and redistributed hundreds of muscari bulbs under the magnolia tree.....just need to scatter some top soil over them all and hopefully we will have a more even display next spring.

Luckily we had an easy dinner tonight, hub treated himself to a,meat &,potato pie from the butchers this morning, which he had with chips and peas. I had panfried cod loin, with roasted vegetables and chilli couscous :-)

Just settling down to watch the second episode of The Luminaries.......looks promising.

Not looking forward to tomorrow.......seeing some of my closest friends in difficult circumstances :-(
