Feathered friend

Slept well, for over 8 hours too!
After breakfast watered the baskets, managed to quickly snap this young bird just outside the kitchen window, then off to get changed and was off to meet sis and a friend at Slatterys, the famous patisserie & chocolatier for an early lunch. I was worried I was going to be delayed, but got there in good time, unlike sis and friend, they got lost en route and ended up half an hour late :-/

Nonetheless we enjoyed our lunch, P,had a dessert too. I bought two lovely cakes for my neighbours, by way of a thankyou for all their kindnesses lately. Ive had a message this evening to say how delish they were :-)

Back home directly, not enough time to go to sis's this aft, as an electrician was calling to wuote me for a list of jobs that are needed.
He was on time, letting me have a price at weekend. I rang the decorators to confirm the job, having had their quote. I also rang the car dealership and confirmed which car I wanted to go with....thats now reserved for me.

Spent an hour deadheading, sweeping, and watering. Sat and talked to hub a while too, felt his presence today for the first time :-) I came indoors around 6.30, had an easy dinner tonight, some preprepped egg fried rice, with a SW chicken in blackbean sauce.......it was ok.

Watched the footy, an improvement on last Friday for sure, but dont see us beating France, Germany or Portugal next Tuesday lol

Have fixed up dates to visit SiL in July, probably have the new car by then
