The Painter

I'm cheating a bit because I took this yesterday as we returned to Skipton.
He was a very talented painter and captured the canal scene wonderfully. 
I really admire people who can do this.
I'm better at drawing people than scenes or landscapes.

I'm not writing much today because it's just too unbearably hot!

I was up early 5.45
A coffee then exercises
Tidied the boat
We went to the market and got yummy fruit and veg - strawberries, melon, apples, oranges, grapes and a pineapple.
Had veggie Samosa and fruit salad for lunch.
Now just trying - in vain - to keep cool!
