Harris Meets Mandy - The Sequel

Do you remember the story about Mandy?

This morning we walked Park Farm fields again where we often meet Mandy and her owner. Mandy's owner and I were astonished to witness Mandy allowing Harris to get this close (she usually dives into the crops to avoid Harris and every other dog she meets). This is quite a breakthrough for Mandy and made me feel very happy!

The other happening on today's walk which made me feel joyous was that I heard (and then saw) my first skylark of the year! I am so happy about this, as I adore skylarks. I love the way they sing their hearts out whilst rising vertically higher and higher into the sky. It brings me the feelings of freedom and sheer abandonment!
