Abandoned

I think this boat must have been washed down river by the flood and has landed on a very shallow part of one of the river channels just out of town. I had to make a quick trip to Lismore this afternoon and spotted this on the way out to the highway. It looks like it has a lot of barnacles on the bottom so it has been sitting somewhere in the water of quite some time. I'm not quite sure how they will rescue it but I'm sure it will be eventually. I haven't been in to the beach for a couple of days so I can't report on how the debris clean up is going. Maybe tommorrow.
