Fu dog embroidery

While clearing in the other house I found this vintage embroidered Chinese mat which belonged to my grandmother, all in all it might be more than 100 years old. I wonder how much time it cost to make this. The whole embroidery is a small round mat showing lots of Chinese symbols but also an elephant ! See the extra for another look at some of the details. DJ painted two walls and I cleared two rooms and what a joy to see the house cleared of most of the renovation debris !
