Nice weather for ducks

The annual leave is over but we have remained in Hunstanton, working from our rented bungalow. It’s nice to be working remotely from a fresh location, as opposed to working remotely from a location which has become semi-permanent. Variety is the spice of life, as they say.

The weather has been completely dire today. To move more than twenty metres during the course of the day, we went for a post-work stroll but had to abort due to getting totally drenched. Hunstanton was practically deserted as people were quite rightfully taking shelter. The seafront looked particularly morose.

The only living creatures thriving in these conditions were the ducks waddling around the housing estate, playing in puddles and shaking off on lawns.
