Eating Out (Again)

It was L’s birthday and we booked a table at the Oakley Arms, where we had our wedding breakfast many years ago.  It was the first time we have eaten out since February 22nd.

The experience wasn’t too dissimilar from the pre Covid era.  The main exception was that we were served by staff wearing face shields.  They did set out a one way system and waiter service brought drinks from the bar.

And as the photo for today demonstrates there were some restrictions in the men’s toilet.  I thought they might have used a sign in more noticeable colours!
