Bird brain

With the mizzly weather today, time to continue the internal tidy up.

In practice as the weather improved the garden got attention too.

One thing we found amongst the relatives’ goods was this box. Sadly it had been damaged but of interest were the strips, of paper that had been used to build up the casing. You can clearly see the Chinese script. While the design with the bird is attractive I fear it is not even one for the Repair Shop.

The brain reference is to the roasted cauliflower which we had for dinner. We were following a Jamie Oliver recipe. Despite the appearance before cooking, it was very tasty along with pomegranate seeds and nut and spice crumb.
