Is It Really

On the rare occasion these days that I find a quiet moment I wonder if the lockdown has affected us in more ways than we realise.

I now watch a little more TV than I used to but I am more selective about what I watch. I have taken to watching the Repair Shop and I find myself getting emotional at some of the stories attached to the objects for repair. Did I get this emotional pre lockdown, I’m not sure that I did, do we get more emotional as we get older, not sure that we do.

Watching Repair Shop has given me pause to think now before I throw anything away, can it be salvaged, can it be repaired? I find myself repairing things now before handing them over to the charity shop.
